Taveau Frères a Paris, France, gilt bronze figural mantel clock, base and mid section of case with renaissance revival style ornament consisting of scrolls, trailing vines, and leaves, the upper section with female figure and two children, one at prayer and with cross, the left with foliate ornament and with books at the right, Roman numeral white enamel dial signed "Taveau Frères a Paris", gilt hands, 8 days, time and strike, pendule a Paris movement with silk thread suspension, marked "Pons" and "Taveau Frères c1850
CONDITION:
Case with good gilding, dirty, and with minor marks/ spotting, one cast flower at left missing, foliage also with minor gold paint touch up, dial and hands very good, ticks and strikes, replaced bell and pendulum, Ht 16"
